I am a single father of 2.  My first child wasn't mine by blood, but I got married to a pregnant woman and have raised the child as my own.  My wife left me last year with both our children and a mortgage that was just too much for me to keep up with alone.  I moved into a smaller home that was closer to my family and have been unemployed since.  Recently I got a job and will start in the next couple weeks, but I have been pretty much living off my tax return and loans for a while now....  I couldn't pay my gas bill at all.  It's at $560 and my gas has been shut off.  I have tried numberous aid programs and the ones I am eligable for are no longer accepting new applicants.  I go to Joliet Junior College for my associate's degree in their EET program and just need a little help to get the gas back on and get by until my grant money comes in November and my job starts in a few weeks.  Most of the money I had went to my lawyer and rent...  Lawyer fees are currently in the $6,000 range and rent in $900 per month.  If anyone can spare any amount please do so.  Thank you.
